Christopher Adams B.Sc. Ph.D. M.B.A.
Christopher attended the Universitiy of Bristol, the University of Oxford and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has extensive business experience having been a Director, Managing Director or Chief Executive of several companies ranging from a FTSE 100 business to a start-up. The business sectors in which these companies were involved include Commodity Trading, Sugar Refining, Road Transport and Engineering, Residential Property Development, Commercial Property Investment, Leisure, Toys, Cosmetics and Toileteries, General Wholesaling, Commercial and Domestic Electrical Distribution Systems and Burglar Alarms.
Paul Ardern-Jones BSc, MRSC, MIPS
Paul's business career has been in the Oil & Chemical Industry with Shell and BP. Outside business he has devoted himself to public service including : Borough Councillor and Mayor of Epsom; Chairman of Governors of Glyn Technology School -a large boys' comprehensive; Chairman of Trustees of International Care & Relief - a charity providing aid programs in East Africa; University of Surrey Court.
In his forties he was treated and cured of Testicular Cancer and since then has been committed to helping cancer research.
Sir Walter Bodmer FRS, PhD, FRCPath
Sir Walter was Principal of Hertford College, Oxford from 1996 - 2005 and remains head of the CRUK Cancer & Immunogenetics Laboratory at Oxford University. He was formerly Director-General of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, having been Director of Research at the Fund from 1979 to 1991. He was made a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1974, and received a knighthood in 1986. In 1997 he was elected an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, and is a Foreign Associate of the US National Academy of Sciences and a Foreign Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He has been a trustee of the Prostate Cancer Research Foundaiton since its inception.
Paul Balcombe MRPS
Paul is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, and is Involved with many Charitable Organisations (including Council of World Jewish Relief). He is Director and Chairman of several Pharmaceutical Companies, and a keen property Investor.
The Late Sir Clive Bourne, (Founder)
Sir Clive founded the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation in 1991, after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. He had a successful career in the transport industry for forty years before retiring, and in addition to his tireless work for the Foundation, he was also the sponsor for one of the Government’s flagship city academies. He very sadly passed away on 10 January 2007.
Lady Bourne
Lady Joy Bourne assisted in setting up the Charity in 1991 and in running the biennial Forums. She is Chairman of the Annual Dinner Committee, and is committed to carrying on the work of her late husband Sir Clive, in helping this charity to grow.
Julian Challis
Julian is a partner in H W Fisher & Company Chartered Accountants. He has been with the firm for 35 years and specialises in business advisory services for the medium-sized owner managed business, charities and trusts .
Dr. Ros Eeles MA; PhD; FRCP; FRCR
Ros is a Reader in Clinical Cancer Genetics & Honorary Consultant in Cancer Genetics and Clinical Oncology at The Institute of Cancer Research, and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust; the main theme of her work is to bring research findings into the clinic, with particular reference to prostate cancer predisposition, screening and treatment.
Mr Frank Chinegwundoh MS FRCS(Urol) FRCSEd FEBU
Frank is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Barts and The London NHS Trust and Newham University NHS Trust. Charitable interests also include Cancer Black Care and the Continence Foundation.
He is actively engaged in prostate cancer research, and is an associate medical director at Newham.

Shirley has been an honorary trustee and forum organiser since the Trust was created in 1994.
Mark Emberton MD FRCS (Urol.)
Mark is a Senior Lecturer in Oncological Urology at the Institute of Urology, University College London and Clinical Director at the Clinical Effectiveness Unit at The Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is an active clinical researcher and teacher with particular interest in minimally invasive methods for treating prostate cancer.
David Pretty B.Sc(Econ) CBE
Before his retirement in December 2006, David worked for Barratt Developments plc for 27 years, including 17 years on the Main Board and 4 years as CEO. The current holder of the UK Regeneration Champion of the Year Award (November 2006), he remains very active in the housing and property sector with a special interest in the provision of homes for first time buyers and social housing. He is currently a non-executive director of The Homebuilders Federation and McCarthy and Stone plc, as well as a Trustee of The Prince’s Regeneration Trust. He is also an Appeal Board member at Shelter, the major Homelessness charity.
Laurance Racke
Laurance has been a Trustee of the foundation since 2003. He has lost close friends to prostate cancer as well as having others who have been diagnosed and successfully treated. Laurance is committed to supporting the work started by Sir Clive and to seeing the foundation continue to grow.
Mr Christopher Woodhouse MB FRCS FEBU
Christopher is a consultant urologist at the Royal Marsden Hospital. His special interest is in reconstruction after cancer surgery, particularly related to bladder cancer. His professorship is in adolescent urology at University College London.
Dr Peter F M Wrigley BM; PhD; FRCP
Peter qualified from London and Oxford Universities and worked as a consultant medical oncologist at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London for 30 years. He is now retired and lives in North Yorkshire.
Mr Senthil Nathan MBBS, MS, FRCS(Edin), FEBU, Dip. Urol, FRCS (Urol) MPhil (Urol)
Senthil is a Consultant Urologist at the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust, an Honorary Consultant Urologist at the UCLH and runs a private practice in Harley Street. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Urology, and is actively involved in research projects into prostate cancer. For more information please see http://www.snathan.co.uk/
Emma Halls
Emma is responsible for running the organisation on a day to day basis, from raising funds, implementing future strategies and masterminding the publicity drive to raise public awareness of the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation's efforts at eliminating prostate cancer.
Lucy Grassby
Lucy raises money primarily from trusts, foundations and companies, and is always on the look out for organisations interested in funding prostate cancer research.
Twyla Jenner
Twyla raises money from individuals including legacies and regular giving. She has a wealth of experience in fundraising and if you would like to speak to her about any aspect of your giving she would love to hear from you.
Christine Wing
Chris is responsible for the day to day administration of the charity, from writing and sending out the newsletter to looking after the accounts. She also looks after all fundraising events, and would welcome any ideas of new events.
