2002 Forum delegates

Delegates 1998 Forum

Forum 2, 1996:
The Royal College of Physicians, London, England.

Theme: New Perspectives in Prostate Cancer, with discussions including: photodynamic therapy for prostate cancer, diet and prostate cancer, and family history as a risk factor in prostate cancer.

 

Forum 3, 1998:
Bilderberg Garden Hotel, Amsterdam, Holland.

Theme: Prostate Cancer: focusing on the Science, with discussions ranging from molecular genetics of prostate cancer to focus groups discussing a range of topics including quality of life and prostate cancer and new targets for Intervention.

 

Forum 4, 2000:
Hyatt Regency, Bethesda, USA.

The first US Forum was co-hosted by the US Department of Defense's Center for Prostate Disease Research and included a Gala Dinner at the British Embassy.

Theme: Early detection and screening for prostate cancer, factors and markers of diagnosis progression and prognostication and HRPC and novel the rapeutics.

 

Forum 5, 2002:

Hertford College, Oxford, England.

 

Forum 6, 2004:

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA.

Theme: Topics included Fundamental and Prostate Cancer Biology and a talk by Howard Scher of Sloan-Kettering, titled ‘The development of targeted therapies from the bench to the bedside and back'.

The 7th Biennial Prostate Cancer Research Foundation Forum was held at the Institute of Cancer Research, London from 22-24 June 2006.

Delegates

Attended by over 45 delegates from around the world, subjects discussed ranged from Experimental diagnostics through to new treatments.
